Mary L. Sullivan, BS
Ms. Sullivan has worked with persons with aphasia during her 35+ year career with the VA healthcare system. She began working at the Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System in 2010 and serves as the coordinator for the Program for Intensive Residential Aphasia Treatment and Education (PIRATE). Mary processes program referrals and communicates with applicants and their families. She provides information and assistance with PIRATE logistics before, during and after program completion. Mary also assists the aphasia research program with recruitment and enters persons into a registry for aphasia research.
