Our Partners With Outstanding Contributions
The Veterans Health Foundation partners with the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System in the name of advancing medical research and the quality of care for our nation’s heroes.
In Oakland is a comprehensive acute care medical center with a combined 224 inpatient beds; 78 devoted to behavioral health and 146 distributed among medicine, surgery, and critical care. This campus also includes our Research Office Building and the Pittsburgh Fisher House, a 10-suite home-away-from-home for loved ones of inpatients.
In O’Hara Township houses a 225-bed community living center—a VA Geriatric Center of Excellence—as well as a 96-bed Veterans Recovery Center for treating homelessness and addictions and an outpatient-focused Ambulatory Care Center.
