Sachin Yende, MD
Dr. Yende completed medical school at the King Edward Memorial hospital, University of Mumbai and a residency in Internal Medicine at Methodist University Hospital. He completed a Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship and a Masters of Science program in Epidemiology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Yende joined the VAPHS in 2014 as the Vice President of Critical Care. He is also the Director of the Clinical Epidemiology program in the Clinical Research, Investigation, and Systems Modeling of Acute Illness (CRISMA) Center in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. This center conducts observational studies and clinical trials to improve outcomes for sepsis patients.
