Jocelyn Tan, MD
Dr. Tan obtained her medical degree from the University of the East, Quezon City, Philippines where in 2013 she was named one of Most Outstanding Medical Alumni. She completed her fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Hospital in New York. She is a fellow with the American College of Physicians. Dr. Tan currently serves as the Director of the VAPHS Colorectal Tumor Board and is the Principal Investigator on many clinical trials including an investigator initiated trial which studies the Ketogenic Diet in Advanced Cancer Patients. She serves as author and co-author on many peer reviewed publications.
Dr. Tan continues to focus on ketogenic diet and the role of nutrition and metabolism in cancer as well as theories of metastasis.
Dr. Tan also is a member of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra’s National Leadership Board.
